Empowering Disadvantaged Youth Through Real-Life Skills
In general to help disadvantaged youth gain real life skills. A major goal is to get the high school graduates to join the “hope program” which teaches a trade and introduces them to the employers of each trade.
About Us
Every Wednesday, our program ensures youth are picked up for an enriching evening. They are provided with a nourishing meal from the church cafeteria, followed by an insightful keynote speaker who shares real-life experiences. Afterward, they engage in an hour of group recreation, fostering camaraderie and healthy social interaction. These activities provide a sense of belonging and valuable opportunities for personal growth and development. Join us in our mission to empower these youth and create a supportive community where every individual can thrive.

In 2024, our Power Forward members graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC), marking a significant achievement in their academic journey. Through dedication and perseverance, they navigated challenges to attain this milestone. This graduation represents their commitment and readiness to contribute positively to society. Equipped with valuable experiences and skills acquired at FTCC, they are now prepared to make a meaningful impact in their community and beyond, embodying the spirit of excellence and determination.
